ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE:
Rosemont Counseling Associates is a
comprehensive private practice of independent clinicians
dedicated to providing quality psychological services for
children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Serving
the community for over twenty years, we emphasize the
individuality of each client and offer caring and respectful
treatment to all. The breadth of the practice reflects the
expertise and experience of the seasoned psychologists,
psychiatrists, and therapists who have joined together in order
to provide the best possible therapy.
Combining cognitive-behavioral approaches with psychodynamic,
marital, and family therapy, the practice employs the latest and
most effective treatments. When medications seem appropriate,
clients are assessed by our psychiatrists with specialties in
psychopharmacology. Taking a team approach, therapists and
psychiatrists collaborate in an effort to best serve each
person.
We are reputable for our work with individuals, couples,
families, and groups in a variety of clinical areas. For
example, our clients often are suffering the pain of depression
and/or anxiety related to stress from various life difficulties
such as relationship, performance, and self-esteem issues.
Sensitive and nurturing to those who have experienced
psychological trauma, our clinicians work with individuals
suffering from post-traumatic stress, childhood abuse, and
dissociative disorders. We offer these clients an array of
approaches and techniques to mobilize a healing process.
Among some other of the more specialized difficulties that we
treat are Attention Deficit Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive
Disorder, Trichotillomania, and Tourette's Syndrome. We also
provide a variety of therapy and support groups. The therapy
groups include a group for adult survivors of abuse and another
group for young adults with self-esteem and interpersonal
relations concerns. We also have support groups for significant
others of persons with Obsessive Compoulsive Disorder and for
teens with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
